Senior Developer QX
While at school, senior software developer Pieter Mouton was fascinated with PC applications and what went on in the background. While not completely sure that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life he enrolled to study at CTI. In 2003 he achieved diplomas in Comprehensive Programming and Internet Development.
After completing his studies, he started working for a small software development company that developed pack house and point-of-sale systems. In 2005 he went to work in the corporate world as a project manager installing network cameras, creating websites and general technical maintenance.
Pieter started working at Prophet SA in 2007 as a junior programmer and soon afterwards became a senior developer. He developed a Warehouse Management System in use at the new Coega Harbour using Motorola’s RF technology integrated with the existing QX cold store and pack house applications.
