Prophet Connects with Produce Leaders at Viva Fresh Expo and CPMA 2026

This April, Prophet’s Business Development Director, Bryan Barsness, attended two of the fresh produce industry’s leading events — the Viva Fresh Expo in Texas and the CPMA Convention and Trade Show in Canada.

Both events brought together growers, shippers, packers, distributors, and technology providers from across North America to discuss the future of produce operations, supply chain visibility, planning, and innovation.

At the Viva Fresh Expo, conversations centered around the evolving challenges facing produce businesses today — from operational efficiency and inventory visibility to planning accuracy and real-time decision-making. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with industry leaders and better understand the day-to-day pressures produce companies continue to navigate.

Later in the month, Bryan attended the CPMA Convention and Trade Show, one of Canada’s premier fresh produce events. The convention highlighted continued innovation across the produce supply chain and reinforced the importance of technology solutions designed specifically for the complexities of fresh operations.

Across both events, one message remained clear: produce businesses require systems that can adapt to constant operational change while providing teams with real-time visibility and confidence in their data.

As the fresh produce industry continues to evolve, Prophet remains committed to supporting growers, packers, shippers, and distributors with technology designed specifically for produce and floral operations.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to connect with Bryan during both events and look forward to continuing these conversations throughout the year.
