FruitOne has signed up for PR3

FruitOne has signed up for Prophet’s disruptive ERP solution, Pr3, to better its packhouse integration and improve data integrity.

A grower-exporter with its head office in Stellenbosch, FruitOne oversees and manages the production of lemons, star ruby grapefruit, navel and Valencia oranges and Tango mandarins from more than 2 000 hectares of orchards on estates in Limpopo. Its community partners have partial ownership of the farms on which they work. The farming division alone employs 620 permanent workers and provides up to 3 000 seasonal jobs every year.

The Pr3 system has superior operational functionality and full financial ledgers. The accounting function is a big plus-factor because the software is driven in every application by the power of Lot Accounting. The latter delivers true financial accounting integrated profitability by any ledger or date period, customer, supplier, product, department or distribution point. Because the Pr3 customer environment is fluid, the system is adaptable to different trading environments to the extreme. In addition, the front-end is entirely customisable.

Of great importance is that Pr3 introduces the new features of role-based user workspaces, including powerful applications for forecasting supply and demand, planning for materials and resources needed, as well as planning and executing route-to-market logistics.
